ACE staff provide well flow testing services to determine the maximum safe yield of your water well along with the water quality. Electronic data loggers are used to accurately record the change in the surface water level every minute caused by pumping. An electromagnetic flow meter is used to accurately record the discharge rate and the volume of water extracted from the well. ACE technicians operate the flow test using either our portable well pump or a permanent well pump installed by others. Our engineers use the data collected from the flow test along with the water quality results to prepare a report commenting on the safe yield and water quality as well as any treatment required to meet the current Guidelines for Canadian Drinking water Quilty. A well flow test report is required by local government agencies in order to ascertain that adequate water supply and quality is available to support the subdivision
